From June 11 until 13, Jabra held a European conference in the Principality of Monaco, and go2 Telecom director David Ratcliffe was invited along to find out all about the company’s forthcoming products.

With the recent purchase of Altia Systems by Jabra’s parent company GN, the star of the show was the newly-launched Jabra PanaCast, based upon Altia’s innovations in video conferencing.

The PanaCast is the world’s first intelligent 180 degree panoramic 4K plug and play video solution

It has three 13 megapixel cameras, using real time video stitching to give a full 180 degree view, and intelligent zoom to ensure everybody’s included in the conversation.

David Ratcliffe said: “With the purchase of Altia Systems it’s clear that Jabra’s ambition extends to video communication too.
“The PanaCast is a fabulous piece of kit; powerful, versatile and effective, yet easy to use with a plug and play architecture that means it’s likely to find a home in a broad range of meeting and huddle rooms.”
